About This Tour

Over 900 years of royal history are waiting for you in Windsor Castle, which is perched high above the River Thames just outside of London. From William the Conqueror all the way through to the current King Charles III, Windsor is now the largest continuously occupied castle in the world. Your ticket includes entry to Windsor Castle and St. George's Chapel (if entry option selected). Windsor Castle is closed on Tuesdays & Wednesdays.

The Chapel has been the location of many royal weddings including TRH The Earl and Countess of Wessex, The Duke and Duchess of Sussex. Within the Chapel are the tombs of 11 monarchs, including The Late Queen, Queen Elizabeth II.
Your ticket includes entry to Windsor Castle and St. George's Chapel (if Castle entry option selected). St. George's Chapel is closed on Sundays.There will be extra time to explore the castle precincts.

  • The State Apartments at Windsor Castle are occasionally closed; on such occasions, your tour may visit the castle precincts, St George's Chapel (except on Sundays) or Queen Mary's Dolls' House instead
  • The Stonehenge Audio Guide is available to download in 12 different languages prior to the visit or while you are on site. Please search for the ‘Stonehenge Audio Tour’ in your app store.
  • Lunch will be taken late in the afternoon (around 3pm).
  • If the George Inn is unavailable, we’ll arrange a similar alternative. Please note that lunch (if included in your booking) may be served later than usual, or replaced with an early supper, depending on the day’s schedule.
  • The order of the itinerary may change due to traffic or operational reasons.
  • When Windsor Castle is closed (currently closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays) we will have free time in the town of Windsor.
  • St. George's Chapel is closed on Sundays. There will be extra time to explore the castle precincts.
  • Please note: Windsor Castle will be closed on December 25 & 26.
  • Our comfortable air-conditioned coach comes equipped with plenty of luggage space.
  • After the tour, you will be dropped off near Gloucester Road (London Underground Station), at approximately 8:30 PM.
  • If the lunch option is selected, customers can choose from four different meals, including a vegetarian option and fish & chips.
