About This Tour
Join us on a special small group tour from London to Stonehenge, Bath and a Secret Place. This tour takes you off the beaten path and down narrow country roads through the quintessential beautiful English countryside. We will visit the world famous prehistoric stone circle of Stonehenge and marvel at the mysteries that surround it. Then onto the spa city and UNESCO World Heritage City of Bath, founded by the Romans and now dripping in gorgeous Georgian architecture, and of course - a visit to our highly coveted secret place. We are certain you will love it, but where could it be? You'll have to come with us to find out. Maximum of 15 passengers per tour for a small group experience accompanied by an experienced expert guide. You won't get lost in the crowd, our guests mean everything to us.

Itinerary

Visit one of the world's most famous and celebrated prehistoric sites. The 5000 year old Stonehenge. A prehistoric marvel, your tour guide will provide a detailed historic introduction to the site. Discuss archaeological findings, theories and the mystery of this magical stone circle. You'll have plenty of time to soak in the atmosphere, take photographs and visit the Stoenhenge visitor centre, complete with exhibition, archaeological display and cafe serving a good range of hot and cold food.

We spend 2 - 2.5 hours on the ground here with an optional walking tour with your tour guide available to those who choose to join. As well as our time on the ground - we also provide a panoramic driving tour around some of Bath's very finest and most beautiful streets.

Admire Bath's beautiful 15th century Abbey, standing on the site of a medieval church that saw the coronation of the very first King of England. King Edgar - crowned in 973AD.

Admire Bath's stunning Pulteney Bridge. One of a handful of bridges around the world with working buildings on top of the bridge. This was a rejected design for the famous Ponte Vecchio in Florence, Italy

On our panoramic driving tour of Bath, see Bath's finest street - the incredibly grand, and enormous semi circular Royal Crescent. An icon of opulent Georgian Britain and home to houses worth many millions of pounds. We will have an on the ground photo opportunity here and your guide will accompany on the ground to give you the historical and cultural background to this incredible street and green surrounds.

- A moderate amount of walking is involved, and across some uneven surfaces
- Collapsible wheelchairs with removable wheels can be accommodated providing the passenger is accompanied by someone who can assist them board and disembark
- No large items of luggage are permitted, luggage compartment is limited
- Operates in all weather conditions, please dress appropriately
